Three Easy Rides from the New Bazaar
Self-guided loops from our front door: the center circuit, the Grand Park lake, and the riverside greenway, with coffee stops marked.
Rent a bike from our New Bazaar shop and you are two minutes from three of the nicest easy rides in Tirana. These are the loops we mark on every free rental map, with the coffee stops we actually use.
1. The Center Circuit, about 1 hour
Skanderbeg Square, the Et’hem Bey Mosque, the Pyramid, and a slow roll through Blloku’s cafe streets. Short, flat, and full of photo stops. Go early on Sunday mornings when the boulevards are nearly empty.
Coffee stop: Any of the Blloku classics, but the quiet courtyard spots two streets back are better than the main-drag terraces.
2. Grand Park & Lake Loop, about 90 minutes
Cross the center and climb gently to the park, then it is car-free paths the whole way around the lake. Shady in summer, golden in autumn, and the closest thing Tirana has to a cycling sanctuary.
Coffee stop: The lakeside cafe near the amphitheater, take the bench facing west if it is late afternoon.
3. The Riverside Greenway, about 2 hours round trip
Follow the Lana west and pick up the riverside path. Flat, family-friendly, and surprisingly green, this is the ride locals use to escape without leaving town.
Coffee stop: The garden cafe by the third bridge, ask us and we will circle it on your map.
All three routes are included free with every rental, along with a helmet, lock, and lights. Send us a message if you get lost, +355 69 280 8181, we know exactly where you are.
